High Country Radio was able to contact the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office for an update about the Operation Winter Cleanup drug bust that occurred earlier this week.
When we last spoke to Sheriff James Williams, 18 suspects had been taken into custody, while five remained at large. According to Sergeant Brian Greer with the Ashe County Detention Center, only two suspects remain at large, while the other 21 are either in custody or have been released on bond.
Sergeant Greer said Donald Scott Lewis as agreed to turn himself in, but Angel Michelle Severt is still at large. Anyone with information on Severt’s whereabouts should contact the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office at (336) 846-5633.
The following suspects have been released on bond:
William Nicholas Fink - $20,000 secured – bonded out
3 cts possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, 6 cts sell/deliver marijuana
Robin Woods Brown - $24,000 secured – bonded out
2 cts traffic opium/heroin, 2 cts obtain controlled substance by fraud/forgery
Gregory Kelly Ellison - $24,000 secured – bonded out
Possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, 2 cts sell/deliver cocaine
Anthony Dustin Graybeal - $50,000 secured – bonded out
2 cts possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, 2 cts conspire to sell marijuana, 2 cts conspire to deliver marijuana
Angela Lee Turner - $2000 secured – bonded out
