Missoula, Montana; The Apps fell two yards short of a trip to Chattanooga, falling to Montana 24-17.
The Mountaineers recovered from a first-drive Montana touchdown to take the lead before halftime, 10-7. The game was tied at 17 when Montana took the lead on a touchdown pass with 91 seconds to go, but the Mountaineers stormed back to the 2 yard line with 6 seconds to go, and failed on two successive pass plays--the last with one second to play. More on the game from Sports Director Mike Kelly. |
