Watauga County Schools are on a two-hour delay due to icy conditions and downed trees after a night of heavy rain.  School officials say the delay will allow students to travel in daylight and will give crews time to remove downed trees.  Blue Ridge Electric has crews at four of six areas with reported power outages due to the weather with some 80 customers effected.  Outages are near Boone, Blowing Rock, and eastern Ashe near Glendale Springs.
