The Inaugural Sugar Grove Halloween Festival will be held this Saturday afternoon at the Historic Cove Creek School.

According to Tawnya Tester, who is helping organize the event, the festival will serve as a fundraiser for Sugar Grove Developmental Day School, which is the only nonprofit daycare in the High Country.

Several clubs at Watauga High School will put on activities including Blinko, duck pond, bean bag toss, lollipop tree, and several others.

Other activities include a trunk or treat, an air walk, a pumpkin carving contest, a costume contest, a haunted hallway, and many others.

Admission is $8 per child and there is no admission for adults accompanying small children.

Activities will run from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Historic Cove Creek School.
