The Boone Police Department told High Country Radio the missing 11-year-old boy has been found.

Lieutenant Andy LeBeau of the Boone P.D. said Luke Wheeler wandered from his guardians at the Boone Mall around 5:30 this evening.

LeBeau explained the boy is not from the area

A citizen reporedly found Wheeler walking on Winkler's Creek Road around 7:15.
