Students at Hardin Park Elementary raised over 1,200 cans for the Hunger Coalition, and in doing so, school administrators have to make good on bets.

According to Cheryl Catoe, who is involved in the Hardin Park P.T.A., Assistant Principal Jim Godwin worked the carpool line today wearing a tutu, Assistant Principal Phil Norman will have to eat at least a dozen raw eggs, and Principal Mary Smalling will be sleeping on Hardin Park’s roof tonight.

Catoe said ASU’s Appalachian Ambassador program was also involved in the canned food drive.

As a quick side note, Hardin Park’s Fall Festival will be held tonight from 5:00 until 8:00.
