Watauga County authorities are looking for the person or people who have been stealing gas from residents’ vehicles.

According to April Gunter of the Boone Police Department, several vehicle around the county had fuel removed from the tanks on Monday evening.

Gunter said these vehicles were parked at businesses around the county.
