The totals are in. Last week’s Golf Tournament, sponsored by Casa Rustica to raise money for the Watauga County Humane Society and Rescue Squad earned between $6,500 and $7,000. According to Rick Pedroni, the event, held at Red Tail Mountain Golf Course was a success.
The rain held off long enough for everyone to play.
In fact, it was such a success, Pedroni and his wife, Elizabeth, plan to make it an annual event. Petroni wanted to thank Red Tail Mountain Golf Course, Coca Cola, Budweiser, area restaurants and golf patrons for making the event a success.
