Senator Kay Hagan will visit a Burke County furniture plant tomorrow to discuss the work she’s been doing in the nation’s capitol on behalf of small businesses.

According to Hagan’s office, she will visit EJ Victor in Morganton tomorrow morning at 10:30.

The company contacted Hagan’s office in June and asked for help in expediting a refund from the IRS.  EJ Victor employs around 200 people and needed the money to keep from laying off workers.  Hagan was able to get the money to the furniture manufacturer in time and in doing so, saved over 30 jobs.
