In today’s digital world, it seems that everyone is using the social networking site, Twitter, to stay in touch. The North Carolina Department of Transportation is no different, as Governor Bev Perdue announced the DOT will now give traffic updates on a Twitter feed.
Information about traffic issues like accidents, road or lane closures, construction projects, maintenance work, and general congestion in our region can be found at www.twitter.com/ncdot_westmtn.
Don’t forget, GoBlueRidge.net also has a Twitter feed to keep you up to date on breaking news in the High Country at www.twitter.com/GoBlueRidge.
