The state’s unemployment rate remained unchanged through July.
According to the newly released numbers from the North Carolina Employment Security Commission, the state’s unemployment rate remained at 11 percent, while the national unemployment rate fell to 9.4 percent last month.
Local government and healthcare saw the most job gains, while furniture production and fabricated metal production saw the most job losses.
The NC ESC is expected to release their county-by-county numbers in a few days.
