The Watauga Humane Society is holding a special photo contest to help the organization find a spokesdog for October, which is Adopt-a-Dog Month.

According to Ellen Jo Kramer of the humane society, photos must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18.

A committee will pick the top three finalist for online voting, which will be held from September 21 to September 27.

The winner will the face of the Watauga Humane Society for Adopt-a-Dog Month.
