Congresswoman Virginia Foxx has scheduled her telephone town hall meeting to hear her constituents’ concerns on healthcare.
According to Foxx’ office, the meeting will be held on Thursday, August 20, at 6:30 p.m.
In a released statement, Foxx said, “We need sensible healthcare reform that is patient centered, not government-centered or insurance company-centered. In the midst of the national debate over healthcare reform many constituents want to know what their government is up to with healthcare.”
Constituents who choose to participate in the meeting will be connected to a live conference call with Foxx and other constituents across the district. In order to participate, residents must call 1-877-850-4133 on Thursday evening at 6:30. In order to join the conference call, residents must enter the password F-O-X-X (3699).
After joining the call, participants will be able to ask Foxx questions about healthcare reform or any other issues.
