Authorities in Catawba County say they know who was driving the vehicle that struck and killed 27-year-old Renardo Funez last Monday morning.

According to our Foothills Bureau, the State Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Tiffany Jade Vassello was driving the Nissan Xterra that struck Funez last week.

Troopers reportedly met with the a representative from the Catawba County’s District Attorney’s Office yesterday, but haven’t said how they plan to charge Vassello.
