A benefit motorcycle ride and car show will be held this weekend to help a Watauga County man who was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in the spring.

The Mark Wellborn Full Throttle Motorcycle Ride and Car Show will also include a barbecue sale, a cakewalk, 50/50 tickets, children’s games and other activities.

The event will be held Saturday at Laurel Springs Baptist Church in Deep Gap.

Registration for the motorcycle ride will be held that from 9:00 until 10:30.
