Employees of the Blue Ridge Parkway have several free events in store for residents as part of their Heritage Day celebration at the Moses Cone Memorial Park.
Ranger Amy Renfranz said several craft demonstrations, music, story telling, children’s games, carriage exhibits, and tours of the second floor of the manor will be featured as part of the free celebration.
The Heritage Day celebration is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Moses Cone Memorial Park at milepost 294 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
