A special event just for kids will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 when rangers teach children about herbivores that call the Blue Ridge Mountains home.  This 45-minute session will be held at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater.

Jeopardy on the Parkway will be held at 8:00 on Friday Night at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater.

A ranger will also lead a program about plants and wildlife that call a pond home during a 40-minute on Saturday night at 7:30 at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater.

A “Puppets on the Parkway” program will be held on Sunday evening at 6:00 at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater.  This program will last about 45 minutes and will teach children how a sunflower makes its own food.

As always these events are free and open to the public.
