| Apple Data Center Coming to Catawba County |

Catawba County was able to land the Apple Data Center.
Our Foothills Bureau reports the data center will be built off of Highway 321 in Maiden. The company is expected to invest around $1 billion and add about 50 jobs.
Catawba County has among the state’s highest unemployment rates with 15.5%.
