The Boone Police Department arrested a Vilas man in the wee hours of this morning, charging him with breaking and entering.

According to Sergeant Matt Stevens of the Boone P.D., 46-year-old William Clyde Tester was arrested around 3:00 this morning at the Town of Boone maintenance yard on Horn in the West Drive.

Stevens said Tester was charged with one felony count of breaking and entering as well as one count of possessing burglary tools.  Tester was also served with two outstanding drug charges.  He was given an $8,500 bond and will appear in court on September 15.
