A six-year-old boy and his 4-year-old sister have been found after they were reported missing near Roan Mountain.

Alex and Heidi Suddeath were reported missing yesterday afternoon, and an Amber Alert was issued for the pair around 1:30 this morning.

WSOC-TV reports Federal Bureau of Investigation agents from Charlotte helped in the search for the children.

The missing siblings were found about a mile off the trail, and reports indicate the two are okay.
