The habitat staff at Grandfather Mountain will hold a birthday celebration tomorrow for all the animals that call Grandfather home.

According to Grandfather Mountain’s public relations director, Landis Wofford, the celebration will feature birthday treats and enrichment programs at the deer habitat, the otter habitat, the cougar habitat, and the bear habitat.  Millie the Bear will be making several appearances throughout the day.  Free cake, crafts, games, and other surprises are also in store for the Mountain’s human visitors.

The birthday celebration begins at 10:00 tomorrow morning.  There is no additional charge for visitors during the birthday celebration.  Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for children.
