|Watauga Humane Society Names New Board Members, Elects Officers|

After several officers and board members stepped down from the Watauga Humane Society earlier this week for what was called “philosophical differences,” the organization elected new officers and named new board members.
Shaun Lundy, former Vice President of the Watauga Humane Society was elected president. Lundy has served on the organization’s board of directors for four years.
Lundy said Kathy Copely was elected as secretary. Copely chaired the Prevent a Litter committee since it began and has served as grant writer since 2005.
Rachel Jolly will continue serving as the Board Liaison. Lundy said Jolly has been a board member since 2000 and has chaired several committees with the humane society.
Lundy said the three new board members named at Thursday’s meeting was Jan Watson, Bill Jolly, and Cindy Liutkus.
