17U Watauga Storm boys take third at state tournament PDF Print

The Watauga Storm 17-and-under-boys basketball team finished third at the USSSA State Tournament in Greensboro last weekend in their season finale.


The Storm went 1-2 and finished third. The Storm won two tournaments, finished second in another tournament and finished third in three tournaments this season.

Casey Quinn, Damian Edwards, Will Kopenhaver, Brandon Calhoun, Dillon Epply, Josh Coffey, Wes Moyer, Caleb Watson, Elliott Willis, Bo Pogoloff and Allen Kopenhaver, and eighth grader, were the team members. Wes Epply, Chad Epply and Stephen Poulos coached the Watauga squad.

Now, according to Wes Epply there is a chance the Storm may play in the national tournament in Greensboro during the July 4th weekend.
