Year-long burglary string ends in nine arrests PDF Print

According to Ashe County Sheriff James Williams, nine men are responsible for 25 separate larcenies from March 16, 2006 to May 2 of this year.
According to Williams, the incidents resulted in a total larceny of $44,252.38 in property. Approximately one third of the property has been recovered. Persons charged in the ring are 16-year-old Nicholas Zane Walters, 17-year-old Travis Vernon Brooks, 18-year-old Trey Namath Sheets, 17-year-old Matthew Justin Lemly, 17-year-old Dillon Ross Harless, 21-year-old Timothy Gregory Lemly, 18-year-old Gerald Clinton Walker and 18-year-old Douglas Blain Ward. The investigation is ongoing.
