Avery County authorities are on the look out for the person or people who broke into a church on Powermill Creek Road.

Avery County Sheriff, Kevin Frye, said the break-in occurred sometime between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Authorities didn’t release what was taken in the break-in or the extent of the damage caused to the church.
