|High school parent bill awaits Easley’s approval|

A bill that would provide material annually to high school students statewide about the state law that allows a parent to abandon a newborn baby with a responsible person and not face criminal charges passed the General Assembly today.
The bill awaits Governor Mike Easley’s approval.
