Parking was scarce and soon was produce as the Watauga Farmer's market had a grand opening day Saturday.  (Pictoral essay below)

The market itself expanded past the entrance to the Horn in the West theater for the first time, and a throng of shoppers found  plants, produce, art and craft items and baked goods to their liking. 

The Saturday market runs through the end of October and a Wednesday market will start in several weeks.
