Anytime a North Carolinian visits Washington, DC, they are now cordially invited to stop by Senator Kay Hagan’s office for a cup of coffee.
Hagan’s office announced the start of a program called “Carolina Coffees”, in which North Carolinians are invited to informally meet the senator and her staff while they are in the nation’s capital.
Carolina Coffees will officially begin on Wednesday and will be held every Wednesday morning while the Senate is in session from 9:00 until 10:00.
Hagan said the Carolina Coffees program is a way to make her office more accessible for her constituents.
Hagan’s office is located in Suite 521 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Hagan’s deputy press secretary, Sadie Weiner, said visitors should allow for extra time to go through security before entering the building.
