The Watauga County Special Olympics scheduled for today at Watauga High School have been postponed due to the weather.

According to Stephen Poulos, athletic director of Watauga County Parks and Recreation, the Watauga County Special Olympics is rescheduled for Thursday, May 7th at Watauga County High School.

Poulos also says that the Special Olympics are still in need of volunteers for next week's event. Call (828) 264-9511 if you are interested in volunteering or if you have any questions about the rescheduling of the event.
