Boone Police officers responded to an attempted break-in at the Hardee’s location on Blowing Rock Road just before 2:00 Wednesday morning.

According to Sergeant Matt Stevens of the Boone P.D., an employee was at the restaurant and heard a strange noise.  The employee went to one of the doors and found the glass was partially shattered.

Stevens said the employee didn’t get a good look at the suspect and so far, authorities have no leads.
