 How do you celebrate Earth Day in Boone? With SNOW, of course.
Snow fell across the High Country beginning in the mid-afternoon yesterday, with High Country Radio receiving reports from Beech Mountain and other peaks of snowfall. Boone residents woke to snow showers and some accumulation on the grass, limbs, and other areas, but roadways remained mostly clear of any frozen precipitation.
