Someone allegedly cut through a padlock and chain to
get to a string trimmer in Wilkes County. Sam Whittington went outside to find the chain and lock cut off his storage shed. The gas-powered trimmer was valued at $200. Nothing else was stolen from the shed, and deputies are investigating the incident.
