The Avery County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested two residents for drug-related charges.

Avery County Sheriff, Kevin Frye, said 46-year-old Richy Keller, of Foscoe, and 20-year-old Cameron Snyder, of Weaverville, were both arrested on drug charges.  Both were arrested last Thursday and in both cases, the charges stemmed from a vehicle stop.

Keller was charged with felony possession and possession with intent to sale and deliver marijuana, while Snyder was charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and simple possession of marijuana.
