The Town of Beech Mountain has a new town manager.

Randy Feierabend was named Beech Mountain’s town manager late last week after officials sifted through more than 40 applicants.

Mayor Rick Owen said Feierabend impressed the town council with his management experience and background in planning.

Feierabend served as planning services director for Caldwell County for nearly a decade.  Before working in North Carolina, Feierabend served as planning and development services manager in York County, South Carolina.
