Beach bashes used to be commonplace in Caldwell, according to Caldwell Arts Council’s Carolyn McCrary. This summer, the Council is bringing the tradition back by sponsoring The Tams in concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Lenoir High School football/soccer field. It will be an evening of dancing and beach music, she says. It’s even for a good cause.
It's one of Caldwell Arts Council's biggest fundraisers. Tickets are $25 and the gates open at 5:30 for pre-party picnickers. Intermission even features a shag contest. It should be a memorable event, McCrary says.
