The Watauga High baseball team will play six games over the next seven days. It all begins on Tuesday when Freedom comes to town for a Northwestern 4A Conference game.
The Pioneers will then play McDowell (8-2 overall; 5-1 NW4A) on Thursday night at home. The Titans, who play Alexander Central at home on Saturday, are currently in second place, one-half game behind WHS for that number one seed. South Caldwell (8-2; 5-2), which lost to WHS on Friday night, is currently in third place, one game off the lead.
