There were only two games scheduled last night, and only one was played.
The Watauga High women’s soccer team picked up its second Northwestern 4A Conference win of the year by knocking off Alexander Central 1-0 down in Taylorsville. Sidney Atkinson scored the game’s only goal at the 25-minute mark of the first half. Kendall Conner picked up the assist. The WHS soccer team (2-7-2; 2-2 NW4A) travels to South Caldwell tonight. The JV team played to a scoreless tie.
