Two weeks after ASU announced basketball head coach change, Georgia Southern follows suit.
The Statesboro, Ga faithful are ready to follow events in Boone, as Georgia Southern men's basketball coach Jeff Price has left the Eagles program. A dismal 8-22 season was more than Price could overcome after a 10-year, 165-133 career. He stepped down on Monday.
The highlight of the Eagles regin under Price was a NIT tournament berth in the 2006 campaign. That was their first postseason appearance since 1992. Price also recorded three 20-win seasons at the school.
