The Horn in the West amphitheatre is a busy place these days. Just ask Mark Woodard who plays Dr. Jeffrey Stewart in the upcoming production.

His character is at the heart of the controversy in Horn in the West.

When Dr. Stewart discovers son Jack’s involvement with the revolutionary war, he is determined to keep his family out of the conflict. The only safe option is to move west.  <!--[endif]-->

It’s a story Woodard deems important, so important, that this is his ninth year in the show.

Horn in the West premieres Friday at 8 p.m.
