Officials from the Dell computers plant in southern Forsyth County announced Wednesday that they will be laying off workers.
According to WXII-12, the layoffs are part of a reduction in global workforce to keep costs competitive.
The plant in Forsyth employs over 1,100 people and has been open for four years.
