The Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation had its Annual Membership Meeting over the weekend at Ashe County High School.James Burl Lawrence Jr. of Watauga County was among the four directors elected. Reelected were Bradley McNeill of Ashe County and Jeff Joines of Caldwell. Bryan Lee Edwards of Alleghany filled the seat of retiring director John Woodruff.
