Horn in the West kicks off June 15 PDF Print

An important High Country summer event kicks off June 15. Horn in the West returns to Boone.

A tradition since 1952, Horn in the West has a special treat for locals Friday. The premiere is Watauga night. By showing an ID to prove Watauga residency, tickets can be available for $6 as opposed to $17. Secretary Kay Sigmon believes it’s something vital for every local to see because it's the history of our country.

One of the oldest outdoor dramas in America, the play depicts the lives of frontiersmen and their families who braved the savage wilderness to settle in the highlands of North Carolina.

Reserve your tickets today by calling 828-264-2120.
