Watauga County authorities are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect that broke into an area home and attempted to steal a television.

According to April Gunter of the Boone Police Department, the suspect broke into a residence on Incline Drive in Vilas on either February 6 or February 7.

The suspect reportedly took a TV from the home and then dropped it in the driveway.
