AAA Carolinas is expanding its ad campaign to billboards in North and South Carolina to warn drivers of the dangers of distracted driving.
The series of billboards across the Carolinas will focus mainly on cell phone use while driving.
According to AAA’s Carolina’s Traffic Safety Foundation’s president, Tom Crosby, these billboards, which are designed to warn drivers about distracted driving, will include graphics to get drivers’ attention.
Crosby said that driving while distracted affects a driver’s perception, judgment, and action.
