Watauga County authorities are looking for a suspect who broke into a residence in late January, taking several items.
According to April Gunter of the Boone Police Department, a residence near the 500 block of Big Hill Road was reportedly broken into sometime between 10:00 a.m. on January 16th and 3:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
A Savage .22 caliber model 23D rifle, a Russian military training rifle, a Chestnut wood antique clock, a pair of Bushnell binoculars, an Echo chainsaw, a Stihl chainsaw, a Makita nail gun, a hunting knife, and various coins and medicine were reportedly stolen from the residence.
