An unidentified roofer fell three stories from a rresidence yesterday morning.
This is the second accident of its kind in two days. This time the accident occurred at a residential home on Basswood Road in Foscoe. The man, who fell approximately fifty feet, was transported to Twin Rivers athletic field off N.C. Highway 105 where a helicopter took him to Johnson City Medical Center. While his condition is unknown at this time, witnesses say the man appeared to have fairly serious back injuries. Tuesday, a construction worker fell fifteen feet while putting siding on a building at Sugar Mountain in Avery County. The worker was transported to Cannon Memorial Hospital due to his injuries.
