Jury selection in Caldwell’s first-degree murder suspect, Jerry Anderson, continued yesterday, with the questioning of four potential alternate jurors.
As of yesterday afternoon, 3 alternates had been selected. One more is hoped for today. Once again, potentials were questioned on their stance on the death penalty. Anderson is accused of murdering his wife, Emily Anderson. The trial is taking place in Gaston County due to the large amount of publicity surrounding the case in Caldwell.
