Authorities are looking for the person that stole a jacket from an area ski resort just a few days after Christmas.

April Gunter of the Boone Police Department reported the jacket was stolen on December 30th around 10:15 p.m. from the upstairs dining room of Appalachian Ski Mountain.

The American Eagle jacket is blue with dark blue sleeves and had an iPod in the pocket.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the jacket or information about who may have stolen it is asked to contact the Watauga County Crimestoppers at (828) 268-6959.
