The suspect who broke into the Library Restaurant and Pub on Blowing Rock Road in Boone took the time to cook himself a meal while he was stealing money from the cash register.

According to investigators with the Boone Police, the crime is believed to have occurred between 11:00 Monday evening and 1:00 Tuesday morning.

The individual is reported to have caused damage to the building structure, stolen an undisclosed amount of money from the business, and took the food that he prepared for himself.

Security cameras at the restaurant captured several pictures of the suspect.
