Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation gained a new board member.Ashe County native David Boone will take over Jackie Blackburn’s position on the board. Boone owns Boone Family Funeral Home in West Jefferson. The Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation’s annual membership meeting is this Saturday at Ashe County High School.
